I saw him lead her to her locker along with her friend. I could tell he was nervous by the way he kept looking back. He was going to ask her. Now because she had been busy earlier. The poster, drawn and decorated by himself, was carried at his side. The message was there. Would it be good enough? It had to be. Where's he going? Her locker's there; the same one he spent days and nights getting drawings drawn and colored for. Ah, he walked ahead on purpose. Spun the dial...once....twice....okay that's too much. And voilà! I heard that she likes his design, the coloring, the maybe the carefully evened out art work along the sides. She lost her attention and he unrolled the poster, hoping his excuse that it was a project would be believable.
It's not until her friend by her side saw that she took the poster by the eye. Oh and what a smile that is. Look, she blushed! It was a yes for sure! She looked at her admirer and muttered a few words as friends and classmates passed by. She replied with her answer. An answer that he nearly saw coming. The question still remains, out of the two answers, yes or no, which would she have chosen? His mouth began to make the words until the bell rang, the sign for all students to move on to class.
