Magic... by AaronPennings Magic... by AaronPennings
As we walk through the streets. busy with new life, I get it now. There are no endings, and there are no fairy tales. But the pages keep being written. Time soldiers on.

Who knows if our darkest days are behind us? Or if The One will be the only person to bring them? All I know is, it was all real, every moment.

I can close the book on this part of our history. I can start a new chapter, but it doesn't matter.

Because now, the magic is everywhere."

Witch and Wizard: The Fire~James Patterson and Jill Dembowski

The fact that I can't get sleep anymore, I thought I might put this up before I forget.

I was going through my bookshelves sometime ago, trying to tidy them up for once, and I found the book open up to the last page. I couldn't help but read it. That last part of it really did stick in my mind. That's where the idea for this picture came from.

In the book, magic is depicted in many ways, especially music. So, there's a whole bunch of sheet music in the background. Taking this picture, I realized something... I have way too many music sheets from Disney movies...

Just thought I may something new instead of Origami for once. It's my first shot of doing something like this, so easy on the critiques please :)

Oh, well. Hope you guys enjoy

This is really cute, and I love the whole "Music creates magic" sort of theme. Only little critique is use a bit of color contrast. With such similar colors, the picture is a little flat, and doesn't have as much depth. But other than that, I like the simplicity of the picture, while still being able to convey the message of magic being created by music.

On a different note, I see "Friend Like Me" in the background. I even started singing it to be sure :P

Good enough for me. Just gonna try other stuff next time.

I didn't realize I had it in the picture 'till I saw it on the camera screen. Lucky me :D

It's definitely cute. However: why was the background music? WHAT is the music? Do these contribute to the image as you intended it, as far as the message, or was it just a nice background? If it was just a nice background that's all well and good, but with the intended message of the scrap of paper, a background relevant to the message (say, tape it to the window and show the scenery outside, or create a collage of images you find magical and place them in the background in like a pile, with the text on top.) The music alone doesn't let me see the magic. Give me magic! I want magic! :eager:

I think this has promise, though.

It was brought up many times in the book that it helped with making magic. Didn't mention that did I? Well the sheet music is from various Disney movies. I believe the main one you can see there is a medley called "Disney Razzamataz". It's what I saw from the book. The book took place where everything was being destroyed and it was hard to find magic in things like outside. That's one of the reasons why I felt I couldn't do something like that.
